As he climbed the corporate ladder and peeked behind the curtain, he saw that the more money people made, the more they lost their integrity. That went directly against his nature, so he stepped away from it all, retiring to a quiet farm in Georgia.

But something was missing. He couldn’t shake the feeling that he was meant to do more. He missed the fulfillment of helping families protect their greatest investment—their homes—and felt a deep calling to restore integrity to an industry that had lost its way. Determined to make a difference, he set out on a mission to rebuild trust in the roofing industry, founding a company where people and principles come before profit.

As the CFO and the wife of our founder, Russ Gordon, Angie brings over 20 years of experience in the home improvement industry, having grown up around her father’s local hardware store. Her deep-rooted passion for family, faith, and stewardship drives her work and influences every decision she makes.

Angie is committed to supporting her family and community, seeing the residents of Middle Tennessee as an extension of her own family. Her dedication to their homes and well-being mirrors the same care and responsibility she feels for her own. In her role as CFO, she focuses on ensuring the company remains a strong and reliable partner for the community she loves.

John has worked and lived in the Middle Tennessee area for 25+ years. He and his wife of 27+ years, Jennifer, have four daughters and currently live in Columbia. John has been involved with the home improvement industry for over 25 years. John is dedicated to homeowner satisfaction, his reliable and hard-working attitude will ensure your home will be cared for to the fullest extent.

With over a decade of hands-on experience in construction, design, and operations, Kali brings a fresh and innovative perspective to the roofing and solar industry. She’s tackled nearly every aspect of construction—designing projects, negotiating with code officials, leading crews, and optimizing operations.

Frustrated by inefficiencies in outdated systems and processes, Kali made it her mission to modernize workflows. Embracing technology to create smoother, more efficient solutions. Guided by her mantra, “everything is figure-out-able,” she’s passionate about delivering compliant, high-quality results while raising the bar for professionalism and trust. Her goal is simple: to provide customers with an exceptional, full-service experience from start to finish.

Originally from Florida, Kali now calls Middle Tennessee home, where she leads Dragon Scale Roofing & Solar with integrity, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

Savannah brings a decade of experience in the service industry to her role. Although newer to roofing, her passion for delivering exceptional service remains at the core of her work. Compassion, kindness, and understanding guide every interaction, whether with customers or team members.

Nick has five years of experience in production management, but his roots in the industry run much deeper. Growing up around his grandfather’s hardware store and with his mother, Angie Gordon, deeply involved in the home improvement industry, Nick developed a strong passion for helping people protect and improve their homes.

In his role, Nick is responsible for creating accurate estimates and managing crews to ensure every project is completed on time and to the highest standard. His meticulous nature, focus, and dedication to detail make him an invaluable part of the team. Helping customers get their roofs repaired or replaced, and addressing any damage affecting their homes, is what he’s truly passionate about.

Outside of work, Nick’s commitment to kindness and helping others shines through in everything he does. Whether supporting his team or going the extra mile for a customer, Nick’s willingness to assist others is always evident.
